I am writing to express my interest in the Registered Nurse position advertised in the Nursing Monthly newsletter on January 1, 2012. As a Registered Nurse who has been practicing for 5 years, I think you will find that I have a lot of knowledge and experience to bring to your team, as well as enthusiasm and dedication.

I graduated with honors from Seattle University with a Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences. I have a license to practice nursing in both Washington and Alaska. I have additional specialization training and skills in several areas. Some of my most important strengths and achievements include:

• Specialization in pediatrics as well as emergency and ICU/CCU.
• Extensive knowledge of complete care, including assessment, diagnosis and treatment.
• Internal employee award for dedication, service and exceptional care.
• Strict adherence to hospital policies and training.
• Helped manage employee training for 3 years at ABC Hospital.

Nursing is a calling to me more than a simple job. It is my goal to help and treat people, both physically and emotionally. I believe my caring and hard work will be a valuable addition to your team.
